Project work at Westmore splits across two divisions: commercial general contracting and steel building erection, and operated crane lifts for contractors, businesses, and homeowners. The fleet covers 55 to 350 tons, and the same crew that quotes a job also erects the building or runs the lift. Both divisions work across Clark County and the Portland metro from the Battle Ground base.

Commercial and industrial buildings. Completed work includes a custom steel building erected and finished for Tracker Safe in Vancouver, a warehouse and lumber yard for Builders FirstSource in Woodland, and a commercial office and warehouse at Creekside Plaza in Vancouver. Home improvement work is not something the building side takes on. Send the building type, the rough size, and how it will be used.
Look at three things: the state license record, completed buildings close in type and size, and what past clients say in public. Washington posts contractor registrations through Labor and Industries, and Oregon posts licenses through the Construction Contractors Board, both free to search. Westmore's completed work and its Google reviews are public, and the reviews name the crew members who ran the jobs.
Both are normal scopes, and they get quoted separately. Setting the frame is steel erection: columns, rafters, purlins, and girts raised and bolted to the drawings. Exterior finishing closes the shell in after that and is its own line of work. Westmore does exterior finishing as well as erection, so one contractor can carry a building from bare anchor bolts to a closed-in shell.
Yes, and erection-only work is a regular part of the schedule. A manufacturer or an owner orders the engineered package, a concrete sub pours to the anchor bolt layout, and Westmore brings the crews and cranes that raise the frame and close it in. The other route has Westmore holding the entire contract, coordinating the manufacturer, the concrete, and the trades.
Yes, and most crane and rigging jobs stand on their own. A rooftop HVAC swap for a mechanical contractor, a spa dropped into a fenced backyard, structural steel picked for another builder, or heavy equipment moved and placed all book as single jobs. Machine, certified operator, and rigging go out as one package on every one of them.
