Note what the pick weighs and photograph the driveway, since the road in matters as much as the load.
Only when it touches a town street. Town of Yacolt Public Works issues a right-of-way use permit for occupying a street, which is separate from any building permit the work itself needs. A pick that stays behind the property line does not reach the street at all. Westmore handles the right-of-way application.
Often yes, though the driveway usually picks the machine. This is forested foothill country, so grade, width, and overhanging limbs are the obstacles more often than the load is. Equipment can set up wherever the ground is firm and work the pad from there, which is why an approach photo counts for more here than the tonnage does.
